Bornedals Thriller schafft es von Anfang an die Spannung kontinurierlich steigern zu lassen und nimmt dabei sehr unbequeme Formen an - man kann fast schon nicht mehr hinsehen! Die Geschichte wird in sehr düstere und ästhetische Bilder verpackt, die den starken Kontrastfilter gar nicht nötig gehabt hätten. So sieht der Film oft etwas prätentiös und gekünstelt aus, ein authentischer Look hätte hier wohl besser gepasst, darüber kann man aber hinwegsehen. On the soundtrack, the film can convince the other hand, consistently, rarely act and psychological stress was shown by the unity of sound and vision hand in hand so skillfully.
