How Much Miles To Upgrade For Krisflyer

Takeshi Kitanos OUTRAGE

Director: Takeshi Kitano
writer: Takeshi Kitano
Starring: Takeshi Kitano , Renji Ishibashi, Ryo Kase, Sôichirô Kitamura

former comedian and co-founder of the modern Japanese cinema Takeshi "Beat" Kitano returns back before [and after] the camera, and once again turns the irreversible cycle of violence. It all starts with the fact that the wrong bad guys will literally spit in the soup. Who could have guessed that a nondescript Zechpreller is just one of the largest and most influential Yakuzafamilien? What follows is the extremely bitter and violent showdown two power-hungry Yakuzaclans with expected output ugly.

"violence begets violence ..."

... true to this motto, the yakuzas eat itself up and remain at the end of sacrifice is not enough blood feud Many intact. OUTRAGE not really a new story told here, on the contrary, he delves into a topic, the filmmakers Johnnie To [ELECTION, FULL TIME KILLER] has devoted a long time ago in detail. Takeshi Kitano's latest coup is indeed a relatively simple story of guilt and atonement in which everything revolves around revenge and satisfaction, behind this facade, however, he covers with a dry, almost comical nature the weird and the naivete of those in power games. Formal OUTRAGE is indeed brilliant - to convince both the actors and the sometimes extremely bloody images completely - only the otherwise innovative spirit of Kitano's not quite as bright flashes forth as usual. The lack of a role model makes it difficult to enter the film, but emphasizes the more the Unsympathie his protagonists, in which the actual statement of OUTRAGE is emphasized even more. That means consciously chosen cinematic style poverty sometimes results in a certain tension, thus OUTRAGE is still "just" a good Yakuzafilm, not more and not to the friends of Martin and Johnny To's Scorsesses Mafiaepen Yakuzafilmen will have their great joy, less.

HEREAFTER

Director: Clint Eastwood
book Peter Morgan
Starring: Matt Damon, Cecile de France, Bryce Dallas Howard, Derek Jacobi

Clint Eastwood's new film begins with a loud bang. An expensive animated sequence shows how a gigantic tsunami on Thailand falls and resulting in numerous casualties. This scene is both technically successful and scenically trick completely. The spectator feels in the cinema If the immense power of nature firsthand. The focus of this natural disaster is Marie [Cecile de France], she is the victim of the tsunami and is experiencing a near death experience which they will influence one or sustainable. In parallel, the story of George [Matt Damon] is told that is after an accident in his childhood in a position to communicate with the dead and has to suffer under the social consequences of this gift. The third main character of this film is the young Marcus, who wants to know after the death of his twin brother, what awaits us after death.

What awaits us after death?

HERE AFTER is a very courageous film: after the loud and effekvollen Start He totally screwed his pace back and tells three touching stories about experiences with the afterlife, the voltage on an emotional level is between the lines. Eastwood is on the one hand deal with the uncertainty of the people, what comes after life, but also shows very clearly the consequences and circumstances of this search. So Here AFTER sanded never in Hollywood kitsch, but instead reveals a number of charlatans who want to beat this human desire for knowledge profit. The individual episodes about loss, grief, curiosity and the desire for knowledge merge beautifully organic to a unit, even the characters in the course of history together sent be. HERE AFTER avoids any religious touch and gives a kind of spiritual sense rather than to rely on stereotypes. Clint Eastwood self-composed soundtrack is once again a subtle highlight and fits very well with the aesthetics but completely unaufdringelich a photographed image.

A subtle and touching look at people beyond experience

HERE AFTER you should absolutely see the original because the film is set in Thailand, France, England, America and Switzerland and the spoken languages and accents in Film contribute much to the atmosphere. Through this multi-cultural touch to HERE AFTER feels almost like the work of a European filmmaker, it's here the world is not only exclusively from America [the number of U.S. blockbuster suggest often]. Hereafter is with Clint Eastwood and also managed an unusual genre mix excellent.

SUMMER WARS

Production: MADHOUSE
Director: Mamoru Hosada
Release: DVD and BluRay by Kaze

For the young student of Kenji Summer is quickly becoming a nightmare, because a virus-like Artificial intelligence is out for him and brings the world order completely confused by sabotage of a large network. First you have to face Kenji against charges of crime data, soon, however, concerns much more ...

The [animated] Social Network

SUMMER Wars boasts a successful presentation of "OZ" a large, weltumgreifenden network - operate in the meantime all the inhabitants of this planet - a kind of Facebook 2.0. The real and the digital world are already veschmolzen completely with each other if there are problems in one world, it also interfered with life in the "other" world.

WALLSTREET 2

Regie: Oliver Stone
Buch: Alan Loeb
Starring: Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan, Susan Sarandon, Eli Wallach

WALL STREET, Oliver Stone's critical assessment of the stock market in 1987 is, rightly well as one of the great classics of film history - everything fits in perfectly! As so often holds true: a successful work should be allowed to rest in peace at best, especially when such a catastrophic nonsense like WALL STREET 2 - THE MONEY NEVER SLEEPS is mortised.

Wall Street - Rest in Peace

Why is it that Oliver Stone's latest film has gone completely in the shorts? First you have the director of the slope to absolute superficiality attest. It starts with the fact that you actually a metaphor for the collapse of the stock market by the uninspired image of a bursting bubble. In this film, the Internet is still depicted with colorful tunnels and glowing letters, which are reflected on the Faces, the people. In general, the entire stock market looks like it had sprung from the 1995s movies HACKERS - There is a lack of credibility on the one hand, on the other side feels the wooden symbols kidding plain and simple. Oliver Stone sets date by his action tinkering around the banking crisis, but this seems so designed and wooden, it's that, as an audience just do not feel taken seriously. MONEY NEVER SLEEPS suffers from a significant symbolism of allowing a subtle style can be no question anymore. What was the original nor a critical look behind the facades of the stock market, here gives way to a listless rolled down soap opera without structure and tension. Shia LaBeauf [TRANSFORMERS 1-28] gives the terribly unpleasant and stupid young brokers and is visibly overwhelmed, while Josh Brolin [NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN] in the role of instant villain is probably the one-dimensional performance of his career.

A point goes to the soundtrack

The film is a long playing time of over langweillig two hours just terrible, which is due to the confused and often trivial story of revenge and relationships because hilt not a pretentious or forced upon the motorcycle race short guest appearance by Charlie Sheen. The only thing worth seeing [or worth listening to] the great soundtrack by Brian Eno and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne. Only a little message at the end: Dear Oliver Stone, after such terrible films such as Alexander, WORLD TRADE CENTER and now WALL STREET 2 - THE MONEY NEVER SLEEPS, it would be finally time to retire. Please do us this favor.

THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Director: David Fincher
Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Joseph Mazzello
book Aaron Sorkin

Even before speaking one of David Fincher's film as "the godfather of a new generation of computers. The film can redeem on the success story of Internetphänmens "Facebook" this claim? First you have to say one thing: THE SOCIAL NETWORK is no glorification of the myth "Mark Zuckerberg," but takes a very sophisticated look behind the events of the creation of a gigantischen Massenphänomens.

Trotzdem ist THE SOCIAL NETWORK der first successful start-up film of the next generation [after some very crude and downright hair-raising attempts - just think of the Bill Gates STARTUP.COM parody starring Tim Robbins]. Especially at the beginning of the film draws the successful image of a generation that longs for networking and will take place as a kind of progressive life in a network. Whether the one shown now to the facts or not, one can understand neither, nor is it for the audience of greater relevance, because the lifestyle of the generation "Web 2.0" is reprinted here very nice and the success story "Facebook" can also as a kind of metaphor for the power of the Internet to be understood.

The portrait of a generation

especially Justin Timberlake [ALPHA DOG] is convincing in the role of the greasy Napster founder Sean Parker, who wants revenge on the "big", while Jesse Eisenberg [ZOMBIE LAND] a successful presentation of Facebook inventor Mark Zuckerberg is. The real star of the film is the brilliant soundtrack by Trent Reznor [of the band NINE INCH NAILS]. His music is the perfect combination of synthetic music and classic tunes. David Fincher's biography can convince because he, despite his ambivalent characters always retain an objective view of the action and therefore this issue is completely fair.

Nose Itchy As Per Hindu Mythology

You'll Meet A Dark Tall Stranger

Director: Woody Allen
book Woody Allen
Starring: Naomi Watts , Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Lucy Punch, Antonio Banderas

After 40 years of marriage, divorce drives a wedge between the 73 year-old Alfie [Anthony Hopkins] and his wife Helena. He seeks his fortune in the now much younger ex-prostitutes Charmaine [great annoying: Lucy Punch], which drives him financially gradually into ruin.

In principle, of course, a very depressing and sad topic, but Woody Allen Woody Allen would not if he could not perform well in this subject a little sardonic comedy. Due to its unpretentious and quiet style, the film stands not significantly from his filmography out cinematic innovations you look at the grand old man also in vain, but has I SEE THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS the distinctive "Woody Allen's charming," which has characterized his early work. Allen is particularly good at delving into specific social classes and this apart, it was the English working class from CASSANDRA'S DREAM or the New York upper-class [eg ANNIE HALL and much more.] In this regard he succeeded with this film, a sensitive and entertaining look through the windows of the Society at a quirky little microcosm. After MATCH POINT, SCOOP and CASSANDRA'S DREAM YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER is Allen's fourth film, which plays in London. Acting here is particularly highlighted Lucy Punch, which runs up in the role of incredibly bold Charmaine to the absolute top form, but also convinced Josh Brolin in the role of the unsuccessful and morally tormented author. Conclusion: A film for fans of the Master, following the motto: Where is Woody Allen about it, even Woody Allen in it.

38 Weeks And Having Discharge

127 HOURS

Regie: Danny Boyle
Buch: Simon Beaufoy, Danny Boyle
Darsteller: James Franco, Treat Williams, Amber Tamblyn, Kate Mara

Es ist schön zu sehen, dass sich Boyle bei jedem his films to a whole new experiment and faces up to his Oscar-winning SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE is not resting on laurels vile.

Rookie

127 Hours, his latest film, a surprisingly relaxed and warm-hearted retelling of the fate of Aron Ralston, an adventure in 2003, fewer than 127 hours [!] Caught in a crevice was . Refreshing here is that the film in this scenario, the focus is not on the usual nihilistic loss of hope is, but it tells how much can hang a man in his life. In this sense, is 127 HOUR an ode to hope and a history of a thrilling battle for survival.

The will to survive

Boyle gets the interest of viewers in that he fills the character of Ralston in flashbacks and dream sequences to life. Under the consideration that [almost] the entire movie with his true background locally very restricted, there are no significant narrative lengths. James Franco proves to be a successful choice for the sympathetic figure of the adrenaline junkies Ralston. Although annoying at times of "hip" for the documentary style popular use of split screens, but this is pretty much the only formal blemish, the one in Boyle's energetic project may determine. 127 Hours has long residual effect on the audience, because what is seen as dramatic in its details may have been so motivating are the last pictures that we dismiss the film in the wide world.

Television as Cinema "this maxim has the American pay-TV channel Home Box Office Television [short: HBO]. Made his own the motto produced the station great miniseries like THE WIRE, SOPRANOS, or such, this study series SIX FEET UNDER, which the Claim this claim to redeem, and far beyond.

of sadness and hope

Alan Ball, creator of this group wrote, among other things [at the time by many directors hotly contested] script to AMERICAN BEAUTY and results in his series the socially critical approach of the Oscar-winning screenplay consistently pursued. be behind the facade of a funeral, many social Broken taboos and some narrative stereotypes skillfully uncovered and uprooted. Small and big stories of homosexuality, drugs, sex addiction, adultery and bereavement are told to sensitive and totally unpretentious way. You can tell how much the heart of everyone involved in this series depends on the actors [including Michael "DEXTER" C. entertaining and engaging at the highest level.

SIX FEET UNDER is a giant Tragigkomödie with a considerable size and a draft, which no [Cinema] film implementation would be fair. Up to this series one would claim that only the medium "book" was capable, because every character in this series has a tangible background lives a life of credible and "breathes" normal. Each character is likable and understandable in its way, implausible passages do not exist, and this very rare circumstance makes this series so comprehensively managed. SIX FEET UNDER, a series - no, a work of art - carved in marble, gilt and glued to the TV screen.

How Can I Darken Louis Vuitton

BLACK SWAN

Director: Darren Aronovsky
book Andres Heinz, Mark Heyman
Starring: Natalie Portman , Barbara Hershey, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder

ambition a person can destroy - true to the motto of the film BLACK SWAN the ballerina Nina observed in their preparations for the lead role in Swan Lake. The great artistic pressure releases in Nina and dark forces threatening to engulf her personality completely. Of course, BLACK SWAN is not a dance film honest, but the same is true at the beginning of a very ominous tone and presents itself as a powerful [Horror] thriller.

An elegant dance in the darkness

Even in Dario Argento's SUSPRIRIA was a ballet school in the stronghold of evil. There were witches, which young dancers in the insanity [or in the death of] excessive, in Darren Aronovskys BLACK SWAN is evil on the other hand indicated only takes but a no less important. The growing ambition of the protagonist manifests itself more and increases to the absolute madness. BLACK SWAN breathes the spirit of a classic, cool thriller, as it would have been about John Schlesinger [MARATHON MAN] or Roman Polanski [Rosemary's Baby] rotate - Aronovsky [PI, REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, THE WRESTLER] adds in places its almost surreal work of a pinch of horror and is distinguished by its sensitive powers of observation on the genre conventions. The real power from the film of the ambivalence in the character of Natalie Portman, who mutates from the white swan eponymous BLACK SWAN. Violence and sexual fantasies are not a taboo here - these themes relates to the film much of its visual and narrative power.

black or white?

Natalie Portman plays the role in BLACK SWAN their lives, they are fragile and are dominant at the same time, a contrast, which force the entire movie with. The work of cinematographer Mathew Libatique wraps the film in a very dark and at the same time aesthetic pictures, which are visible from Argento's horror classic inspired. Even the soundtrack of nervenzerrende Aronovskys master composer Clint Mansell contributes a large part on the successful atmosphere. BLACK SWAN beyond the boundaries between madness and reality, and opens into a successful and highly emotional finale. Aronovskys latest coup is a strong thriller that will change every second, between horror and Schöhneit - absolutely intoxicating!
