Frei nach Shakespeare: Schall und Wahn!
Woody Allens neuester Film handelt davon, wie Menschen einer falschen Illusion nachjagen und dabei zu einer bitteren Knowledge access. In principle, of course, a very depressing and sad topic, but Woody Allen Woody Allen would not if he could not perform well in this subject a little sardonic comedy. Due to its unpretentious and quiet style, the film stands not significantly from his filmography out cinematic innovations you look at the grand old man also in vain, but has I SEE THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS the distinctive "Woody Allen's charming," which has characterized his early work. Allen is particularly good at delving into specific social classes and this apart, it was the English working class from CASSANDRA'S DREAM or the New York upper-class [eg ANNIE HALL and much more.] In this regard he succeeded with this film, a sensitive and entertaining look through the windows of the Society at a quirky little microcosm. After MATCH POINT, SCOOP and CASSANDRA'S DREAM YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER is Allen's fourth film, which plays in London. Acting here is particularly highlighted Lucy Punch, which runs up in the role of incredibly bold Charmaine to the absolute top form, but also convinced Josh Brolin in the role of the unsuccessful and morally tormented author. Conclusion: A film for fans of the Master, following the motto: Where is Woody Allen about it, even Woody Allen in it.
7 / 10 blood-sucking Ludern
